{{ productList.length }} productsA buffer strip, also known as a filter strip, is an area of land that is maintained in permanent vegetation. The benefits of having buffer strips on agricultural land is that they help to control air, soil and water quality. Vegetative filter strips also trap sediment and help farmers to control crop fields. At Oliver Seeds, we provide a variety of grass buffer strip seed mixes. Our range includes our red clover variants that are designed to help attract insects, birds and mammals, providing a permanent ‘wildlife corridor’ and physical barrier for weeds. We can also include cocksfoot and clover seed, that not only improves the drought tolerance of the sward but also attracts more insects and adds a splash of colour when flowering.
